2022 AGM

Welcome to our AGM

Who says AGMs have to be boring?? On Wednesday 5 October, our members gathered at our office to launch the next chapter of our organisation. Our 2022 Annual General Meeting was made special with good food and great company!

We mingled over drinks (served with a smile by our bar volunteers) and feasted on Dave's delicious wood-fired pizzas until official business kicked off. With 27 members present, we were easily quorate!

President Chris Pam chaired the start of the meeting, handing over to the staff (Crystal and Tiff) to table the Annual Report, in the form of a presentation (slideshow included, of course!). We also got an update from Phil of Phil's Bush Cleanups, who shared the origins, challenges, wins, and future direction of his volunteer work removing illegally dumped waste from local bushland. The Financial Reports were presented by Andrea, who was thanked for her work as Treasurer over the past 12 months.

After presentations, the Management Committee for 2022-2023 was elected, with each nominee briefly addressing the audience.

Alastair Birtles, Linda Davis and Cam Leitch did not re-nominate for the Management Committee this year. They were sincerely thanked for their dedication to their roles over the past few years.

Tiff did a fantastic job of pulling the evening together, and we would like to thank Chris, Peter, Cam, Alex, Dave, Pen, Andrea and everyone who lent a hand to make our AGM so enjoyable!
