Newsletters and other publications

North Queensland Conservation Council is 'the voice for the environment in North Queensland'. This means that when projects, policies or plans are proposed that do not adequately protect our environment we stand up to make it known.

We do this in lots of ways, including writing policy submissions and press releases, providing advice, raising awareness and organising our communities to raise their voices and demonstrate community support for the protection of North Queensland’s environment (our biosphere), our amazing natural assets and our way of life.

Our past policy submissions and media releases are available via the drop-down menu under the 'News' tab, as are issues of Paperbark, our members' email newsletter. More importantly, visiting the 'Newsletter Sign-up' and filling in your details will allow us to keep you in touch with our campaigns.

Paperbark has been published to our blog since it became an email-only newsletter during 2015 and this link will take you to all past issues, most recent first.
