North Queensland Conservation Council

Our mission is to promote and protect the natural environment of North Queensland.

Based in Townsville, we advocate on environmental issues within the area roughly bounded by Bowen, Cardwell, the Coral Sea and the Northern Territory border. We are non-government, non-partisan and not-for-profit. We are run entirely by North Queenslanders who live, work and play in this beautiful region and want to see it flourish for many generations to come.

We are a registered Australian charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live. We acknowledge the strength and knowledge that First Nations people bring to our community and pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
