North Queensland could be a leader in clean energy, but it's vital that we get the transition right - for our local community and the natural values that make our region so special.
NQCC is developing community-driven guidelines for a nature-positive energy transition.β In doing so, we aim to build stronger community relationships, improve local knowledge, and share community expectations for future projects.
In this workshop, we want to hear the perspectives of locals who:
- have insights to share from interactions with the renewable energy industry;
- live or work near current or proposed projects or will otherwise be impacted by development; or
- have an interest in seeing the energy transition done well.
