NQCC is turning 50!
Let us commemorate half a century of extraordinary environmental actions by ordinary North Queenslanders. Be inspired by the courage, enthusiasm and agency of Townsville’s everyday conservation heroes. Soak up the richness of North Queensland’s history with an evening full of personal stories, music, and poetry.
We invite you to reconnect to the grassroots of environmental campaigning and to further your appreciation for our local community and nature. What can we celebrate about our organisation's colourful local history? What can the next generation of activists learn from the past?
This celebration and fundraiser will take place on Friday 23 August 2024 at 6.30pm for a 7pm start at the Drill Hall Studio, 27 Mitchell St, North Ward. This is an outdoor venue, so make sure you dress to the weather conditions!
All tickets include a drink and refreshments. Please purchase your ticket as soon as possible to support our planning and catering.
Ticket prices: $38.50 standard; $27.50 concession (ticket prices include GST and processing fees)
