EPA Day Picnic

EPA Day Picnic poster

Queensland is the only Australian state without an independent Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and we think it's high time that changed!

This Earth Day (Saturday 22 April), we are calling upon the Queensland Government to protect all that is worth protecting, with an independent, well-resourced, science-based, First Nations-centred EPA.Β

Help us to spread the message by attending our family-friendly "EPA Day" Picnic!Β

Join us from 3pm at Soroptimist Park, near the Primrose St carpark. Bring your picnic rugs, comfy chairs, sun protection, snacks and outdoor games.Β We will have our awesome t-shirts for sale (modelled below) and Climate Action Now signs to give away!

Without an EPA, the state of Queensland's environment will continue to decline. This is our chance to come together and highlight what's at stake. Happy EPA Day!
