Did you know social workers are on the front line of the climate crisis? Social Workers for Climate Action (SW4CA) is an alliance of practitioners, students and researchers tackling the impacts of climate change on peopleโs wellbeing - especially for the most vulnerable in our communities.
They champion eco-social work, recognising that our health and resilience are deeply connected to the health of our natural environment. From disaster response to housing, mental health and food security, social workers help communities adapt and take action for a fairer, safer future for everyone.
Come along to hear what theyโre working on and find out about an exciting event they have planned! Enjoy the company, relax with a drink, and connect with fellow nature lovers and changemakers.
