"Our Townsville" is a biennial community event run by Townsville City Council in Anderson Gardens, Mundingburra. It is expected to draw huge crowds, and NQCC will have a colourful presence in the "Our Reef, Our Environment" section.

We want to know what kind of environmental initiatives Townsville locals would like to see our Council leading. At last year's Ecofiesta, we asked people to add their ideas to the leaves of our Sustainability Tree. At "Our Townsville" 2023, we hope to present the finished product to Mayor Jenny Hill! 

We will also be asking locals to vote for the kind of projects they'd most like to see, using repurposed bottle caps from our local Lids4Kids recycling program.

Volunteers are needed to help set up, pack down and keep our stall buzzing throughout the day. Consider signing up for a shift if you can, or simply drop by and say hi! We will be in the "Our Environment" section (this site map may be useful!).
