FAQ's
| How much is the surcharge to use EFTPOS to buy tickets in person? |
EFTPOS is available, a small surcharge will apply for transactions under $8AUD We are offering online sales in multiples of 5 tickets to avoid the surcharge. Complete the 'delivery details' at checkout with your email address so that we can send you your ticket numbers during business hours. Please note this is not automated, if you have concerns about your purchase, please contact us. |
| Why is the prize an electric bike? |
NQCC strives to fundraise within the values and ethics upheld by the organisation in general, which means our fundraising efforts are as sustainable; environmentally friendly and community inclusive as possible. We welcome any suggestions for future raffle prizes.
|
| Can I volunteer to sell tickets? |
Absolutely! Please contact NQCC Coordinator, Crystal, to be put in touch with where and when volunteers will be selling tickets in the community. Every contribution is valuable.
|
| Can NQCC members buy tickets? |
Yes! The only people excluded from purchasing tickets (by law) are the NQCC Management Committee members; NQCC Employees; and their immediate family members/household.
|
| What does 'unless otherwise notified' mean on the closing date? |
NQCC has 12 months from the launch date of the raffle to sell all tickets and draw the prize winner. We hope to sell all tickets before our AGM in September, however if we need to, we may extend the ticket sales and advise ticket holders by email (if they've chosen to leave an email) of the new draw date.
|
| How many tickets are there all up? |
There are only 5,000 tickets in this raffle. You have a greater chance of winning this prize than of finding a four leaf clover in the wild, which is amazing odds.
