There are over a 1000 threatened species in Queensland. We need to do more to protect them! Join us at the Cotters Market on Sunday September 8 to paint and sign a Stand Up for Nature banner and learn what else you can do personally for your local environment.

The Stand Up for Nature Campaign of the Queensland Conservation Council wants to show decision makers that the nature we love is worth protecting. The campaign asks are:

• Doubling Queensland’s protected areas by 2030
• Introducing stronger nature laws
• Creating an independent Environmental Protection Agency

You will find the stall in front of the old Westpac building on the corner of Stokes St.
